Shirasuki is known for its strong coverage, making it suitable for base layers. Hakuju has a higher quality with a softer white, and Kinho is the finest grade,  ideal for top layers and finishing touches.
◆Hon-shu is a natural vermilion originally made from cinnabar. Vermilion is now often synthesized from mercury sulfide, producing the familiar bright red color.
