Description
Handmade washi (Japanese paper) made from kozo (paper mulberry). This type is unsized—meaning it is not treated with dosa, a sizing agent used to prevent color bleeding.
As a result, colors will bleed when water or paint is applied.
It is particularly well-suited for expressive works using sumi ink.
Recognized as one of the most historically significant types of paper, it is known for its long and durable fibers.
The paper has a white color.
