This vintage pine soot inkstick was crafted approximately 100 years ago.
It features the uniquely subtle bluish-gray tone characteristic of pine soot, producing an exceptionally delicate and refined ink color.
The name "Senzaisho" was granted as an honor when Motoyasu, the sixth head of Kobaien, presented a high-quality sumi ink to the Emperor.
