This Koukaboku inkstick is made from rapeseed oil soot and has aged for approximately 100 years.
It is an exceptional piece, producing a clear, deep black tone when used as concentrated ink, and showing the soft, beautiful bleeding unique to vintage sumi when diluted.
Dark tone: Pure black
Light tone: Brownish black
