Description
85 × 20× 9ｍｍ
Manufactured during the late Edo period (mid-19th century)
This remarkable sumi inkstick was made over 150 years ago and embodies the refined ink-making techniques of Kobaien.
The animal glue has slowly aged over time, allowing the natural black tone of the soot to appear with exceptional beauty.
