Description
This animal glue is handmade using the raw hides of deer culled as destructive wildlife. Because of the small-batch production, every batch of deer glue varies in viscosity and jelly strength. Compared to our Ox Glue, it features a darker color and stronger adhesion.
It can be used on its own or blended with other animal glues, such as ox glue.
It is particularly well-suited for binding coarse mineral pigments.
The current stock includes batches with lower (weaker) physical properties and batches with higher (stronger) properties.
Please select the strength that best suits your needs.
The physical property values for each batch are listed.
If you have a specific preference, please indicate it in the comments section when ordering.
When using the solid animal glue, please add water to it and allow the glue to swell thoroughly in the refrigerator.
This product contains no preservatives, so once dissolved, please store it in the refrigerator and use it within a few days.
* Adding Fungicide agent to the glue will help it last longer.
