Turpentine is a volatile oil made by distilling and refining resin from the pine plant.
It is a thinning solution for oil paints and oil solvents.
It gives fluidity to paints and brushwork.
This volatile oil has no adhesive strength since it evaporates completely from the paint surface
It needs to be stored in a tightly closed container.
