(Five Treasures of the Study)
A collection of five pieces of stationery called “BUNBOU-GOHOU (Five Treasures of the Study)”,
which includes a brush, ink stick, inkstone, paper, and a glass pen made in Japan was designed to promote the excellence of Japanese craftsmanship.
- Description
- The room of a scholar was called a Bunbou (a study), and the four most important tools used by the scholar, which is the brush, inkstick, inkstone and paper, were called the Bunbou Shihou (Four Treasures of the Study).
Kuretake, a company that wishes to pass on and preserve the traditional ink-making techniques cultivated in Nara prefecture, has created a special set of Bunbou Shihou (Four Treasures of the Study) plus one item.

Gansai Tambi 100 Colors Set III
A set of Gansai Tambi 100 colors in a paulownia wood box.
We are pleased to announce the release of the third edition in response to the great popularity.
The color lineup has been partially changed from the first and second editions,
with the addition of the Granulation Colors and the Sumi Colors(overseas limited colors).

- Gansai Tambi is a series of solid watercolor paints with vivid colors and fast dissolving time with water.
The 100 colors are selected mainly inspired by beautiful traditional Japanese landscapes.
The variety of colors allows you to paint with a wide range of vivid colors without color mixing.
The colors have excellent lightfastness, and the vividness of the paintings lasts longer.
