Ezumi Yuki (Watercolor)
Ezumi Yuki is crafted with a carefully balanced combination of Ezumi watercolor, which contains sumi and gofun shell pigments, producing soft, delicate tones that remind one of the serene beauty of a snowy landscape.
- Product Description
Ezumi is Kuretake’s original watercolor made with a sumi (Japanese ink) base.
Developed by a sumi ink-maker founded in 1805, it draws on centuries of expertise in ink-making to achieve carefully balanced hues, brightness, saturation and expressive potential.
"Yuki" is a new addition to the Ezumi series, born from the collaboration between Nakagawa Gofun Enogu Co., Ltd., the master of white pigments, and Boku-Undo Co., Ltd., the master of black ink, combining decades of expertise and craftsmanship.
Ezumi Yuki is inspired by snowy landscapes, capturing the interplay of light and shadow. The product name, Yuki, is created after the Japanese word for snow.
The soft color palette produces subtle shades and light effects that are difficult to achieve through simple mixing. Other than that, it is also ideal for blending with other watercolors, including pearl tones.
