―It's been the first year since I started working at Pigment, but what is the appeal of this space?
That's right ... First of all, it will be the color that extends to this 4500 colors. I don't think there is any other place where you can see such colors at once, and we have unusual materials and pigments that are not handled by other stores, so I think it is a place where you can stir your imagination.
In addition, since artists provide customer service and workshops as staff, it is also attractive that they can provide advice and technical provision on the creator side.
―What kind of work is Serizawa usually produced?
IJapanese painting materials such as rock paint and glueWe use European landscape as motifs. The nostalgic and narrative images are overlapped with the various scenery I have visited. Many people imagine a classic Japanese painting when it comes to rock paint, but I think my style has a very different taste.

―Have you ever gained while working for Pigment Tokyo as an artist?
In this lab, there are various industries, including artists, both in Japan and overseas. As I listened to and explain the stories of customers, I have more knowledge about materials. Along with that, there is such a usage! The established concept was broken (laughs).
―If you have anything you want to do with Pigment, please.
It's been 5 years since it opened, but unfortunately many people don't know this lab, or think that they are difficult to enter because they are a showroom.
We offer various contents such as interesting products and workshops. Regarding art materials, I hope that you can easily drop in when you are in trouble.
―It seems that the exhibition is scheduled in November.
Yes, we will hold a solo exhibition for the first time in three years at the art spaces in Tokyo.
Because it is a spacious venue, I am making it while being thrilled to have enough work.

―Is there a concept of this exhibition?
This time, the scenery of Croatia, which I went to interview two years ago, will be the main.
Since it was my first land, I took more time than I thought about the work, but I think it was possible to connect to new expressions.

Born in Moscow. 2009 Completed Master's Program Master's Democratic Expressional Expression. After various art -related work, he is currently involved as a pigment articles expert. Using rock paint and glue, he produces paintings with the motif of European landscapes, and has been presenting mainly in Tokyo.
