Description
This ink stick is produced so that the dispersion of carbon particles is constricted to create a somber black tone harmonized with rather strong darkness yet also provided with white light. This is a seiboku (blue ink stick) that creates a kind of somber bluish tone with warmth (redness), and seen at a distance, the color has grace, calmness, and richness. As the years go by, the ink stick also grows and its properties and characteristics will develop remarkably. This 水波紋 (suihamon, ripples on the water) is a product which , like 春光長壽 (shunkochoju, spring light longevity) and 杏林春燕 (kyorinshun-en, apricot forest spring swallow), has been developed for the process of production for the past few years. We look forward to the change and the possibility of expressing the color of an old Ink Stick. Manufactured in 1988.
