For the thick ink stick, it is a refined bluish purple-type black that has thickness and strength where a shade of blue can be felt. A complex color that can only be created from raw pine ink stick with a bluish purple-type warmth and astringency. It can be used for hanging scrolls in kanji, small number of characters, and kana. Thick to extra light ink sticks can be used. As it gets older, we believe the ink stick calms in color, and its three-dimensionality, sharpness, personality, and features grow stronger.
