Mysterious paint shining in the dark

The Mysterious Paints Glow in Dark

The light phosphorus pigment that takes in light in a bright place and glows in the dark place has been used for clock dials from the early 19th century.

In the past, this pigment, which contained components that were harmful to the human body, such as radium, is now replaced by something that is not harmful to the human body.

In this article, we will introduce the pigments that have been newly handled by Pigment Tokyo together with the painted sample.

The first thing to introduce is the phosphorescent blue and the phosphorescent green sold by Kusakabe.

In a bright place, this pigment with a slightly creamy look.

However, it has a slightly different characteristics from the previous phosphorescent pigment.

First, the first eye glows. Many people imagine the light -like pigments to emit light in yellow -green, but in the dark place, the phosphorescent green turns green and the phosphorescent blue glows blue.

Moreover, the light emission time will continue to shine for 8 hours just by hitting the fluorescent light for 15 minutes.

However, it does not glow strongly for a long time, it glows strongly for the first few hours, and then glances slowly.

The light source can be used on sunlight, fluorescent lamps, and LEDs.

The next point is scientific stability.

It is possible to make various types of paint as well as water -based mediums.

Of course, it is made from materials that take into account environmental issues, so it does not include substances that are harmful to the human body.

In addition to this, we have started handling three types of pigments.

This pigment is different from the above products, and is colored by the powder itself.

However, the way of light is a little modest because it is colored compared to the above pigments.

Of course, this pigment does not contain harmful substances, and is a product that is friendly to the environment and the human body, so you can use it safely.

Please note that special light -resistant processing is applied, but if you use it outdoors for a long time, it may be blacked by a composite effect such as temperature, humidity, and ultraviolet light.

Let's actually make paint.

This time, I use the acrylic emulsion.

When mixing the medium and pigments, it is recommended that there is also a dispersion agent for water -based pigments to make it easier to mix.

By adding distributors, it is easy to mix even fine pigments that float in water, giving more beautiful coloring and stable fixing.

First of all, the introduction of the phosphorescent orange 8O-010 and the light phosphorus 8P-010.

It is a technique unique to the original paint that can be adjusted, such as increasing the amount of Medium according to each concentration or reducing it.

If you bring this to the darkness, it will emit light like this.

In addition, you can make original fluorescent pigments using normal pigments that do not emit light as well as fluorescent colors.

This is a mixture of Kusakabe Sky Blue with a phosphorescent blue.

At first glance, it is an unusual paint, but if you bring it in the dark, it will emit lightly in blue.
