Description
Sun Thickened Linseed Oil is a polymerized oil made by exposing linseed oil to sunlight for a long time using a traditional process to allow air and water to act on it.
It has a honey-like viscosity and texture, and when used with paint, it does not let brush marks remain on the surface.
Sun Thickened Linseed Oil has a faster drying time and gloss than linseed and tends to mix well with water-based mediums such as egg yolk and animal glue solution.
By adding a small amount of desiccant agent, it is possible to make a fast-drying oil medium.
