It has light beauty (brightness) and a little darkness (calmness) harmonized with each other provided with redness (warmth) and white light (grace). This beautiful seiboku (blue ink stick) has light and a gentle tone with a tinge of darkness. The reddish opaqueness creates the richness and strength of the color of sumi harmonizing the shin (the core, the stroke by the brush) and the nijimi (the blurring part around the shin). Unlike traditional ink sticks, this one will take more than four or five years to develop its characteristics. After that, it will develop properties and characteristics as the years go by.
