Play with paint, enjoy accidentally

Creating Paintings with Element of Chance

Occasionally, paint can create an attractive expression we did not expect.

There is a production philosophy called Automatism as a phenomenon outside of this consciousness, that is, a movement trying to bring out unconscious areas.

This was translated as "automatic writing" or "automatic description" in Japanese, and the writer of Surrealism actively used this method to produce works.

Among the techniques using this method, there is a method called decalcomannie.

This is derived from Décalquer, which means "transfer" in French. I created a shape.

Unconscious, metaphysical paintings may seem like a little hard, but it's very easy as a method.

Anyone can easily enjoy the beauty created by accident.

This time, I tried using this decalcomanny using PEBEO's Vitler Yu and Prism, using unipaper α bonded to a Styrofoam board.

This unipaper α is a main component with polypropylene, and is characterized by smooth and resistant to water.

By using Vitler Yu and prism, which uses alkid resin as a binder on this support, it is possible to bring out the glossy gloss created by oil -based resins more attractively.

Let's put the paint immediately.

Vitlayu and Prism have a very soft viscosity and are suitable not only for painting with brushes, but also for these drooling techniques.

Next, we will turn another color.

You don't have to think about "I put too much paint" or "this composition is more beautiful". Just enjoy the expression of the paint created by accident as you go.

Once the drawing is completed, cover the water -resistant and smooth paper on the support. In this article, we use disposable paper pallets.

Then, lightly move the paper with your finger to mix the paint on the screen, then peel off this paper slowly. Then ...

An attractive picture was created like a planetary photo taken with a telescope.

This time, let's try it with a different color.

Similarly, the paint is dripped randomly to the support, put on a paper palette from above and peel it off slowly.

This time, an image that looks like a living thing has been expressed.

Looking at this form, what did you imagine?

Not only adults who are prepared for painting, but also those who have children may enjoy talking while talking, "What is this?"

This time, we recommend using a styrene board as a study, but if you want to keep it permanent, it is recommended to stick to the panel.

If you are worried about what kind of paint is Vitler and Prism, this article is also recommended.

Please experience a little mysterious harmony created by paint and accident at home.
