Suihi Pigments

These are called Suihi Pigments because they are produced by refining with water (水sui) and then drying (干hi). They are produced through the process comprising; selecting highly light resistant robust pigment, using gofun (white pigment made from shells) as extender pigment, refining the pigment with water and putting it thinly on the cedar board to dry. The particles of suihi pigments are very fine and produce great color.
